Adds new section 1807 to the New York City Charter requiring the commissioner of the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to issue an annual report on the tenant interim lease program.

First report must be issued by February 1st following the effective date, with annual reports thereafter.

Reports must be submitted to the governor, temporary president of the state senate, speaker of the state assembly, the mayor, and the city council.

Report must include funding amounts available to the program, how funding was utilized, current buildings and participants in the program, and suggested improvements to achieve program goals.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
