Requires boards of elections to copy electronically rendered images of each cast ballot and cast vote records from memory cards or electronic media within one week after an election.

Makes copied electronic ballot images and cast vote records public records available upon request from the board of elections.

Preserves existing authority for courts, judges, and legislative committees to examine information stored on electronic media related to voting machines.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
