Amends the Private Housing Finance Law to require publication of the number of veterans and surviving spouses of veterans given preference on housing waiting lists

Applies to mutual companies, urban rental companies, and the New York State Housing Finance Agency when subleasing dwellings in projects with open waiting lists

Requires the veteran preference numbers to be published adjacent to housing applications for waiting list enrollment

Maintains existing veteran preference policies for projects with closed waiting lists and internal transfer priorities in limited-profit housing projects

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law, with regulations authorized for implementation
