Requires each district leadership team and school leadership team in New York City to appoint one student representative to serve as a member of such teams.

District leadership teams must appoint high school student representatives, selected by the community superintendent.

School leadership teams must appoint student representatives, selected by the chairperson or co-chairpersons of the team.

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law, with authority for the Department of Education to adopt necessary rules and regulations immediately.
