Requires the Department of Agriculture and Markets to develop and maintain a searchable database of lost and found domestic animals with an email or telephone contact option.

Database must include animal type, name, identification number if available, photo, and county where lost or found, while keeping submitter contact information confidential and not displayed on the website.

Database shall be searchable by county and animal type with ability to add other pertinent information, updated upon receiving public submissions, and information maintained for three years.

Website must provide guidance to pet owners on finding lost animals, including tips on acting quickly, using social media, contacting shelters, recognizing pet recovery scams, and verifying pet ownership claims.

Act takes effect 180 days after becoming law.
