Prohibits distribution, sale, offer for sale, or use of glyphosate or glyphosate-containing products in New York State until July 1, 2028.

Establishes a glyphosate task force consisting of representatives from the departments of environmental conservation, health, and agriculture and markets; SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry; New York Farm Bureau; the pesticide industry; and an environmental organization.

Task force directed to research health and safety concerns associated with glyphosate, identify safe alternatives, determine whether use should be permitted, and recommend safe practices if permitted.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the governor and legislature no later than January 1, 2028.

Task force ceases to exist on June 30, 2028; members serve without compensation but receive necessary and actual expenses.
