Authorizes the towns of Harmony and North Harmony in Chautauqua County to abolish existing town justice positions and elect a single town justice to serve both towns.

Requires that both towns have previously conducted a study, adopted joint resolutions, and held public hearings on the proposal before this authorization takes effect.

The newly elected single town justice will begin presiding over the town courts of both Harmony and North Harmony following the next general election in those towns.

The town justice will serve a one-year term as elected.

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
