Amends the purposes of the Ocean Beach Volunteer and Exempt Firefighters' Benevolent Association to include providing relief and aid to disabled, injured, or indigent volunteer members and their families; maintaining headquarters; promoting health, safety, and morale; and enhancing the volunteer fire service.

Expands the allowable uses of foreign fire insurance premium taxes collected by the corporation to support all purposes outlined in the amended section 3, beyond the previous limitation of care and relief for disabled or indigent firefighters and their families.

The corporation continues to collect all foreign fire insurance premium taxes imposed under Insurance Law section 9104 for fire department use on premiums covering property in Ocean Beach, Suffolk County, New York.

The corporation remains entitled to receive a share of taxes distributed under Insurance Law section 9105 based on business written in its territory.

Amendments to section 7 apply to taxes due on premiums received on and after January 1, 2024, with the act taking effect immediately.
