Adds new section 72-s to General Municipal Law requiring reimbursement of actual childcare and dependent care expenses for volunteer members of public bodies.

Covers expenses incurred during performance of duties, including attendance at regular or special meetings of the public body.

Requires volunteer members to submit documentation of childcare or dependent care costs to the appropriate public officer or municipality overseeing the public body.

Amends Public Officers Law section 64 to include childcare and dependent care expenses as reimbursable actual expenses for uncompensated public officers.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
