Amends chapter 234 of the laws of 1907 to change the treasurer position for the Southold park district from an elected position to an appointed position selected by park commissioners.

Park commissioners shall appoint a treasurer who receives and manages district funds and disburses money on commissioner orders, with the treasurer providing required security before taking office.

Removes the three-year term requirement for the appointed treasurer position.

Modifies election and appointment procedures to have the town clerk call both elections and appointments within thirty days of district formation and prior to expiration of terms.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
