Changes authorization for green light display on mobile crisis team vehicles from "office of mental health or office of addiction services and supports" to the "mobile crisis team's director or similar role"

Allows the mobile crisis team director or their successor to revoke authorization to display green lights at any time

Removes the definition of "office of mental health and office of addiction services and supports" as it is no longer referenced in the authorization process

Requires the commissioner of motor vehicles, in consultation with mental health and addiction services offices, to provide training materials to mobile crisis team members on lawful operation of vehicles displaying green lights

Takes effect on the same date as the 2023 law (S. 5397/A. 5604) that initially authorized green lights for mobile crisis team vehicles
