Modifies Civil Service Law Section 50 to change language from "issue every announcement" to "provide notice" of competitive examinations to specified entities.

Expands the list of entities that must receive examination notices to include school districts and public colleges/universities, removing the previous reference to "high schools."

Requires the department and municipal commissions to allow entities to sign up for electronic notification when examination announcements are issued.

Makes job training program notifications subject to "to the extent practicable" language, making this requirement discretionary rather than mandatory.

Takes effect on the same date as the related 2023 law (S. 5486 and A. 6855) that originally established civil service examination announcement requirements.
