Establishes a task force led by the Commissioner of Education with at least ten members including specialists in dyslexia/dysgraphia identification, educators, parents, individuals with these conditions, higher education experts, and literacy teachers representing all state regions.

Requires the task force to conduct at least two public hearings to gather input from stakeholders including speech pathologists, reading specialists, teachers, school administrators, and parents.

Mandates the task force submit a report within twelve months (reduced from eighteen months) to the Commissioner of Education, Governor, and legislative leaders with recommendations on evidence-based screening methods, interventions, and best practices for dyslexia and dysgraphia in school districts.

Requires the Commissioner of Education to make the recommended screening methods, interventions, and educational supports publicly available on the state education department's website.

Dissolves the task force upon submission of its report and changes the act's effective date from January 1, 2024 with an August 1, 2025 expiration to take effect immediately.
