New York State Energy Research and Development Authority is directed to study the feasibility, efficiency, and energy savings of constructing a micro-grid to power Brooklyn College's campus

Study shall examine construction costs, on-campus feasibility, operational efficiency, three-year operating costs post-completion, effects on reducing strain to electrical systems, and potential cost savings

Authority must submit findings, conclusions, recommendations, and any necessary legislative proposals to the governor and legislature within 13 months of the act's effective date

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment
