Repeals section 160.57 of the criminal procedure law, which provided for automatic sealing of certain felony convictions under the Clean Slate Act.

Eliminates provisions in the executive law and judiciary law that implemented automatic conviction sealing procedures and related protections.

Removes protections that prevented employers and licensing agencies from inquiring about or acting adversely based on sealed convictions, except for law enforcement employment and firearm licensing.

Extends the period that conviction information for incarcerated individuals can be posted on state websites from three years to five years after sentence expiration, with additional provisions for individuals with multiple commitments.

Takes effect on the same date as chapter 631 of the laws of 2023 (the Clean Slate Act that this bill repeals).
