Amends Criminal Procedure Law Section 100.40 to require accurate interpretation documentation for accusatory instruments and supporting depositions containing statements from non-English speakers.

Requires either: (a) statement in deponent's primary language with signed perjury verification, English translation by interpreter, and interpreter affidavit confirming qualifications and translation accuracy; or (b) English translation by interpreter with affidavit confirming qualifications, accurate translation, accurate communication to deponent, deponent's confirmation of accuracy, and accurate translation of verification statement.

Makes accusatory instruments and supporting depositions insufficient without accompanying interpreter documentation establishing the deponent's statement was accurately translated and communicated back to the deponent for verification.

Takes effect ninety days after becoming law.
