Changes Criminal Procedure Law Section 710.70(2) to make orders denying motions to suppress evidence mandatory reviewable (rather than discretionary) on appeal from a conviction judgment.

Allows appellate review of suppression denials even when a defendant enters a guilty plea, provided the conviction judgment results from that plea.

Permits appellate review of suppression rulings notwithstanding an otherwise enforceable waiver of the right to appeal.

Takes effect 60 days after becoming law.
