Authorizes Madison and Oneida county correctional facilities to detain individuals imprisoned under the authority and jurisdiction of the Oneida Indian Nation court pursuant to county-tribal detention agreements.

Extends all provisions of Correction Law Section 500-c to apply equally to persons held by sheriffs under Oneida Indian Nation court authority in Madison and Oneida counties.

Legislature approves, ratifies, validates and confirms the county-tribal detention agreement between Oneida County and the Oneida Indian Nation executed on May 23, 2024, for three years from its effective date.

Legislature approves, ratifies, validates and confirms the county-tribal detention agreement between Madison County and the Oneida Indian Nation executed on May 28, 2024, for two years from its effective date.

Sections 3 and 4 expire and are repealed on May 23, 2027 and May 28, 2026 respectively; amendments to Section 500-c are repealed when that section is repealed.
