Allows athletic trainers licensed in another state or territory to provide athletic training services in New York if they have a written agreement with a U.S. Olympic/Paralympic team, out-of-state secondary school, postsecondary institution, professional/amateur sports team, or performing arts troupe.

Permits athletic training services only at discrete sanctioned team sporting events or performances, for a limited period of five days before through three days after each event.

Subjects out-of-state athletic trainers practicing under this exemption to the Board of Regents' jurisdiction, disciplinary authority, and applicable professional misconduct rules and regulations.

Takes effect on the same date as chapter 733 of the laws of 2023, with authority granted to adopt necessary rules and regulations prior to the effective date.
