Establishes annual adjustments to hourly rates effective April 1st beginning in 2026, with misdemeanor rates at no less than 80% of federal rates and other case rates matching federal assigned counsel rates from two years prior under 18 U.S.C. § 3006A.

Adjusts case compensation maximum cap from $10,000 to amounts indexed annually beginning in 2026, with misdemeanor cases at 80% of federal maximum and other cases matching federal maximum from two years prior.

Makes similar hourly rate adjustments and annual indexing updates to compensation provisions under judiciary law section 35 for assigned counsel, effective April 1, 2025.
