Village of Ballston Spa is authorized to transfer ownership of the Woods Hollow Nature Preserve to the town of Milton for park and recreational purposes.

Town of Milton must provide free or equal-cost access to the parkland for all Ballston Spa residents and cannot charge higher fees to non-resident village residents.

Any revenue received by the village from the transfer must be used for capital improvements or acquisition of park and recreational facilities.

If the land ceases to be used for park purposes, ownership reverts to the village of Ballston Spa.

The transfer requires compliance with any federal requirements related to parkland alienation or conversion, including approval from the Secretary of the Interior if the lands received federal funding.
