Authorizes the office of court administration to pay Justice Joseph J. Maltese salary for the period January 1, 2021 to November 7, 2021, after he was denied recertification and terminated despite later legislation compensating 15 other similarly situated justices.

Requires deduction of any outside earnings during the compensation period so total wages do not exceed what he would have earned as a New York state justice.

Authorizes payment to the New York state and local employees' retirement system for pension contributions that would have accrued during January 1, 2021 to November 7, 2021, and reinstates service credit for that period retroactively.

Authorizes the comptroller to waive interest on pension benefits Justice Maltese must repay, since he collected retirement benefits during the period he is now being compensated for.

Estimated one-time cost of approximately $51,900 (payment on March 1, 2025) plus $48,000 in employer contribution increases, to be paid by the office of court administration.
