Requires firearm license applicants to receive information on safe storage of firearms, child access prevention, firearm violence prevention resources, and county and local specific laws and regulations related to these topics.

Directs the Commissioner of the Division of Criminal Justice Services to develop and implement a public awareness campaign educating the public on safe storage of firearms, rifles, and shotguns and child access prevention.

Requires the public awareness campaign to include educational materials covering New York State child access prevention laws, safe storage and transport laws (Penal Law sections 265.45, 265.46, and 400.00), available storage methods to prevent child access, and firearm violence prevention resources.

Mandates the Commissioner make campaign educational materials available in digital format on the division's website and readily shareable to any agency requesting dissemination.

Requires the division to update educational materials on or before July 1, 2025, and annually thereafter.
