Part A: Authorizes the commissioner of general services to amend a conveyance to the town of Islip to remove use restrictions on a 5,767 square foot (0.1324 acres) parcel of land in Central Islip.

Part B: Authorizes the town of Islip to discontinue and convey the same parcel as parkland for residential development, contingent on the amended state deed permitting such alienation.

Parkland Replacement Requirement: The town of Islip must dedicate an amount equal to or greater than the fair market value of the discontinued parkland toward acquisition of new parklands and/or capital improvements to existing park and recreational facilities.

Federal Compliance: If the town received federal funding for the parkland's purchase, maintenance, or improvement, the alienation cannot occur until the town satisfies all federal requirements, including approval from the secretary of the interior regarding equivalent land substitution.

Effective Date: Both parts take effect immediately upon enactment.
