Requires all individual health insurance policies with physician office coverage or major medical coverage to include asthma inhalers prescribed by a physician or licensed health care provider at no cost to the patient.

Eliminates deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and all other cost-sharing requirements for asthma inhaler coverage.

Applies the same inhaler coverage requirements to group and blanket accident and health insurance policies.

Extends inhaler coverage requirements to medical expense indemnity corporations and health service corporations offering physician office or comprehensive coverage.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment and applies to all policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after the effective date.
