Expands the definition of "military status" in New York's executive law to include veterans who have been released from military service, providing them protection under anti-discrimination laws

Adds commissioned officers of the Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Environmental Sciences Services Administration to the definition of military status

Includes cadets at United States armed forces service academies under the protected military status definition

Amends existing law that previously only covered active participants in military service, not those who had completed their service
