Doubles the standard of monthly need for public assistance eligibility beginning July 1, 2025, increasing amounts from $158 to $316 for one person, $252 to $504 for two persons, and scaling up to $1,234 for six-person households (up from $617)

Doubles maximum monthly public assistance grant amounts to match the new eligibility standards, with the additional person allowance increasing from $85 to $282 monthly

Doubles home energy grant amounts effective July 1, 2025, raising monthly payments from $14.10 to $28.20 for one person and up to $110.40 for six-person households (up from $55.20)

Doubles supplemental home energy grant amounts, increasing from $11 to $22 for one person and from $42 to $84 for six-person households

Requires all public assistance standards to be adjusted annually based on federal Social Security Administration cost of living adjustments after the initial July 2025 increases
