Requires task force membership to include education stakeholders, parents, teachers, administrators, and school bus drivers/personnel who are labor union members

Directs the task force to review existing school bus safety laws, examine vehicle sensor technology applications, identify best practices for bus stop designation, and develop recommendations to curb illegal passing of school buses

Mandates a final report with findings and recommendations be delivered within 18 months to the governor and legislative leaders

The act expires and is repealed 24 months after becoming law
