All body camera equipment must be installed within six months of the law taking effect

Prohibits use of the personal video recording devices as a means to conduct surveillance on incarcerated individuals, officers, or department employees

Commissioner must issue annual reports evaluating the effectiveness of body cameras, including impact on assaults, serious injuries, deaths, and physical safety of incarcerated individuals and staff
