Requires physicians, physician assistants, specialist assistants, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses to complete approved HIV and STI testing training within one year of the law's effective date and every four years thereafter

Training must cover routes and risks of transmission, benefits of testing, informed consent, working with allied health professionals and peer educators, and providing respectful care to patients of all sexual orientations and gender identities, including intersex patients

Medical students, medical residents, and physician assistant students must complete the training as part of their orientation programs

Exemptions may be granted to professionals who demonstrate their practice does not require such training or who have completed equivalent coursework

Department of Health must review and revise training content by September 1, 2033, and periodically thereafter, in consultation with stakeholder organizations including those representing people living with HIV and LGBTQ+ communities
