Requires all individual and group health insurance policies in New York to cover at least one early egg allergen introduction dietary supplement and at least one early peanut allergen introduction dietary supplement for infants

Coverage must be provided at no cost to the insured, including no deductibles or cost-sharing amounts

Defines "infant" as a child under one year of age, and supplements must be prescribed by a licensed health care practitioner and contain sufficient infant-safe protein to reduce food allergy risk

Exempts accident-only, specified disease, hospital indemnity, Medicare supplement, long-term care, disability income, and other limited benefit policies from the requirement

Provides exceptions for high deductible health plans and catastrophic plans where the no-cost requirement would disqualify the plan under federal tax or Affordable Care Act rules

Extends the same coverage requirements to Medicaid under the social services law
