Mandates health insurance policies providing preventative and primary care to cover at least one early egg allergen introduction dietary supplement and at least one early peanut allergen introduction dietary supplement for infants

Defines covered supplements as dietary supplements under federal law (21 U.S.C.S. § 321) containing infant-safe egg or peanut protein designed to reduce food allergy risk

Requires supplements to be prescribed by a licensed health care practitioner acting within their lawful scope of practice under New York Education Law Title 8

Applies to individual policies, group policies, and comprehensive-type coverage plans regulated under Insurance Law sections 3216, 3221, and 4303

Takes effect January 1 of the year following enactment and applies to all policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after that date
