Permits medication aides to give insulin injections, low molecular weight heparin, and pre-filled epinephrine auto-injectors, but prohibits most other injections

Requires medication aides to work under direct supervision of a registered professional nurse who must be available 24/7, provide training, and conduct regular patient assessments

Establishes certification requirements including at least one year of experience providing residential health care services, completion of training programs, and passing competency examinations

Requires the Commissioner of Health to issue a report by October 1, 2031 on program implementation, and the entire program expires on March 31, 2032
