Requires school employees (principals, superintendents, or their designees) to investigate and verify reported incidents of harassment, bullying, or discrimination

Mandates that after a verified incident, school counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses, or administrators discuss with each involved student whether they have health, safety, or privacy concerns about parental notification

Requires schools to contact parents or guardians by phone, email, mail, or other means to discuss verified incidents and address the situation, unless a student expresses safety concerns

Allows school professionals to use their professional judgment to determine if parental contact is in the student's best interest when a student expresses health, safety, or privacy concerns

Extends existing immunity protections to school employees who make good faith reports under this new section, protecting them from civil liability and retaliation
