Requires health insurance policies providing physician services or major medical coverage to cover diabetes and prediabetes screening for individuals with a body mass index (BMI) of 23 kg/m² or greater

Prohibits insurers from imposing deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments, or any other cost-sharing requirements on this screening coverage

Applies to individual policies, group and blanket accident and health insurance policies, and contracts from medical expense indemnity corporations and health service corporations

Takes effect immediately upon enactment and applies to policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended after the effective date
