Prohibits employers from requiring employees or job applicants to waive, arbitrate, or diminish any existing or future claims, rights, or benefits protected under New York state or federal law as a condition of employment

Defines "employer" broadly to include individuals, corporations, partnerships, agencies, and firms, as well as anyone acting directly or indirectly in an employer's interest

Exempts contracts or agreements negotiated through collective bargaining with labor unions from these restrictions

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
