Establishes a four-year term limit for town supervisors in New York, prohibiting anyone who has held the position for four or more years from being elected again

Amends Section 23 of the Town Law to add the new eligibility restriction for supervisor candidates

Updates gendered language throughout the statute, replacing "his" with "their" for elected and appointed town officers

Takes effect one year after becoming law

Maintains existing residency requirements that all elected town officers must be electors (registered voters) of the town throughout their term
