Authorizes Kevin Donohue, a part-time police officer for the town of Goshen in Orange County, to take the competitive civil service examination for full-time police officer despite not meeting standard age requirements under Civil Service Law section 58

Allows Donohue to be placed on the eligible list for appointment as a full-time police officer with the Goshen Police Department, contingent upon his examination score

Requires Donohue to comply with all other merit and fitness provisions of civil service law applicable to full-time police officers

Takes effect immediately upon passage
