Expands the duties of the women veterans coordinator to liaise with health and mental health commissioners, hospitals, health officials, obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, and veterans advocates regarding the veteran maternity care program

Changes program language from "providing information" to "disseminating available information" and from "providing guidance" to "providing resources" for identifying mental health conditions in expectant veterans

Removes requirements for developing a rapid consultation and referral system for obstetricians treating veterans with service-connected disabilities affecting maternal health

Eliminates provisions requiring information on engaging family support for veterans and streamlines public health law educational material requirements

Extends the effective date of the 2024 veteran maternity care coordination program from 90 days to one year after becoming law
