Requires an additional unit studying other global genocides, including the Armenian Genocide, the Ukrainian Famine-Genocide, and atrocities in Cambodia, Bosnia, Rwanda, and Sudan

Authorizes the Commissioner of Education to prepare and distribute instructional materials as guidelines for schools developing Holocaust and genocide curriculum

Allows individual school boards to determine the minimum instruction time that qualifies as a unit satisfying the requirements

Assigns the cost of instructional materials to the Department of Education, with the law taking effect on July 1 following enactment
