Requires all AED (automated external defibrillator) equipment in schools to be inspected and tested at least once per month

Inspections must be conducted by staff holding valid certification in AED operation

Testing must follow manufacturer standards and applicable government agency requirements

AED devices that fail to meet standards must be exchanged for new devices through the coordinating emergency health care provider

Schools must maintain written records of all AED maintenance and testing and submit annual reports to the Commissioner of Health
