Renames the "Volunteer and Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association of Thornwood, New York" to "Volunteer and Exempt Firefighters' Benevolent Association" and updates gendered language throughout the 1945 incorporating law

Expands the association's purposes beyond relief for disabled or indigent members to include: providing aid to members injured in the line of duty, maintaining a headquarters, promoting health and safety, and enhancing morale through social and recreational activities

Updates statutory references from old insurance law sections (553, 554) to current sections (9104, 9105) governing the collection of taxes on fire insurance premiums

Permits the association to use collected insurance premium taxes for all expanded purposes rather than solely for care and relief of disabled or indigent firefighters and their families

Tax provisions apply to premiums received on and after January 1, 2026
