Creative arts therapists must be licensed pursuant to article 163 of the education law to qualify for coverage

Explicitly states the bill does not modify or expand the scope of practice for creative arts therapists or create a new mandated health benefit

Takes effect immediately and applies to all policies and contracts issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended after the effective date
