Applies only to personal lines auto insurance and excludes vehicles insured through the New York Automobile Insurance Plan

Requires self-submitted photographs to be in color, JPEG format, minimum 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, between 200KB-5MB file size, and include metadata showing date/time taken within 10 days before or 14 days after the inspection form date

Mandates that insureds certify the accuracy of inspection forms under penalty of perjury, with knowing misrepresentations classified as fraudulent insurance acts that may result in coverage cancellation and referral to law enforcement

Requires insurers to ensure data security for submitted materials and retain signed inspection forms electronically for a minimum period determined by the superintendent
