Includes Asperger's disorder as a separate category characterized by social interaction impairment and restricted behaviors without significant language or cognitive delays

Covers pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (including atypical autism), Rett's disorder, and childhood disintegrative disorder as qualifying conditions

Takes effect on the first of September following enactment
