Eliminates daylight saving time in New York State by invoking the exemption provisions of the federal Uniform Time Act of 1966, keeping the state on standard time year-round

Establishes the 75th meridian time (Eastern Standard Time) as the permanent standard time throughout the state

Prohibits any state department, agency, county, city, or political subdivision from using any other time standard or adopting any statute, ordinance, or order providing for a different time

Repeals Section 2-106 of the New York City administrative code related to daylight saving time

Takes effect January 1, 2026
