Mandates coverage of total vaccine administration costs including supplies, data entry, vaccine counseling, inventory management, and routine nursing activities

Sets reimbursement rates for administration costs based on current year Medicare rates published by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Applies to necessary immunizations (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, rubella, mumps, haemophilus influenzae type b, hepatitis b) and all CDC-recommended vaccines

Takes effect January 1 following enactment and applies to insurance contracts entered into, delivered, amended, or modified after that date
