Requires the Department of Social Services to integrate a user-friendly benefits cliff calculator tool that shows how changes in gross income affect eligibility for public assistance programs and long-term financial self-sufficiency

Mandates that all state and local employees directly responsible for assisting individuals applying or reapplying for public assistance have access to the calculator tool and receive proper training on its use

Requires the department to make the benefits cliff calculator easily accessible on its website

Mandates a report on implementation efforts be submitted to the governor, temporary president of the senate, and speaker of the assembly by November 1, 2026

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
