Authorizes funeral establishments to sell insurance through persons licensed under Article 11 of the New York Insurance Law, including funeral directors who hold such licenses

Creates an exception allowing funeral directors who are licensed insurance agents to accept commissions or other compensation from insurers for selling insurance policies

Removes the prohibition that previously prevented funeral directors from receiving any consideration from insurers for selling policies marketed for funeral or burial expenses, provided they are properly licensed

Amends Section 3450 of the Public Health Law to carve out licensed funeral director-insurance agents from the anti-kickback provisions
