Defines "electric vehicle ready infrastructure" as electrical components terminating in a receptacle or outlet to enable EV charging, and "electric vehicle charging station" as equipment to deliver electricity from an external source to vehicles

Mandates minimum numbers of EV-ready parking spaces and charging stations for buildings other than detached one- and two-family dwellings, with the State Fire Prevention and Building Code Council setting capacity standards

Requires clear signage denoting the availability and location of EV infrastructure and charging stations

Provides exemptions for affordable housing projects with government agreements and allows additional exemptions for technical infeasibility, geographic location, or building type as deemed appropriate by the code council
